experimenting with new paint

This year I decided to experiment with the limited color palette of fluorescent colors for this year’s Summerween series of illustrations. The theme I chose was the Universal Monsters. Those movies are some of my all time favorites. Each painting will feature The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Frankenstein’s Monster, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, Dracula and The Wolfman.

These pieces were rendered on 9x12 Strathmore Black Mixed Media board with Golden So Flat Matte Acrylics and Prisma Color Black Pencil.
